BALLADS (Peripheria Productions), a one-hour documentary
for Omni TV, which follows the lives of a group of new

This deal covers the Republic of Colombia.

López travels to Colombia to begin his research
in traditional Colombian music. He has received a Grant
to Professional Musicians from the
Canada
Council for the Arts to
research traditional music from Colombia and to use
this research in the composition of a series of pieces.

Roberto
López wrote all the original music for the
film Souvenir
Kids (Souvenirs d'Acapulco) that is playing at the
film festival: 8es
RIDM in Montreal. Besides all the original music
of the film, Roberto co-wrote the closing theme for
the film with
Daniel Russo Garrido. The opening theme is the song
"Ayer Soñé" from the Roberto
López Project latest

The Roberto
López Project
album "Qué
Pasa?" has been finished. The commercial release
of the album will be on November 11. The cover art design
and photos were done by Juan
Madrigal, the box back cover photo & Roberto's
photo were done by Jocelyn
Michel, the
mastering was done at
the 'E' Room in
Toronto by Peter
J. Moore and the mix was done by Roberto López
& Claus Frostell at Curura
Musique studio in Montreal.

sessions for the Roberto
López Project
album "Qué
Pasa?" took
place between August 2 and 15. Most of the material
was recorded on location at the Oscar
Peterson Concert Hall in Montreal by Roberto López
& Claus Frostell and additional recording was done
at Curura
Musique studio between
September 8 and 11.

will do on-location recording sessions at the Oscar
Peterson Concert Hall, in Montreal, for the production

25/05 - Recording engineer Claus Frostell
is lending his talents for the recording sessions of
the new album by Roberto
López Project.
Claus has worked with artists such as Moist, David Usher,
Jean Leloup, Gaia, The Planet Smashers, The Gruesomes
and The Snitches just to name a few.

trailer-ad of the 13th
New Latin American Film Festival of Providence.
The festival takes place between the 24 and the 30 of
April 2005 in Providence (Rhode Island).

Curura Musique is proud to announce that the Roberto
López Project
has been approved for the Independent Record Loan
by FACTOR.
The recording will be done this summer. More updates
on the recording and the official launch date will follow.

- Curura Musique will be producing the original
soundtrack for the documentary Souvenir
Kids produced by Peripheria Productions in
Montreal and shot in Acapulco, Mexico. This is a documentary
about the struggle of a resort town dealing with the
impact of child sex exploitation in the heart of its
community.

- Curura Musique, who produced the main theme and background
music, is pleased to announce the recent release of
the documentary film: Musiques
rebelles Americas (Productions Multi-Monde),
directed by Marie Boti & Malcolm Guy, produced by
Lucie Pageau.

animation films produced by Manga
Latina Productions & H2V Entertainment.

- The film "L'argent
(Money)" (ISCA) by Isaac Isitan has won the
Public's choice awards at the Rencontres internationales
du documentaire de Montréal 2003. Roberto C.
López composed the original music for this film.
